I just finished watching Religious by Bill Maher. If you haven’t seen it, it is a film about how religion is not true, and how absurd it is that smart and intelligent people can believe something that absolutely makes no sense. The film also pokes holes in the arguments for faith made by several religions (Christianity, LDS, Muslim, etc.).
It has become of importance to me to look into the facts and discover what is real, and what is propaganda set up to make money and, in essence, control people. I’m now re-watching Lee Strobel’s The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith.
I’ve already decided (a long time ago) that religion is full of flaws. Example, if Christianity is right, then why are there so many divisions of it? Anywho, I’ve made this my mission, and it’ll probably take me a long time to figure out.
I highly suggest, even if you’re firm in your beliefs, if you’re not educated, educate yourself.
